The Babies department

If your baby is between 6 weeks and 1 year they will be cared for in our dedicated Baby department. Our Baby department is well-equipped with everything your little one could possibly need.  We have calming sleep areas that are equipped with multiple sleeping options to complement your little ones daily routine. The department have consistent, fully trained professional ready to greet your little ones into our setting.

We know how hard it is to leave your little ones but hopefully we can make it that little easier! In this department we offer lots of sensory activities from sand and water, to light play, as well as music and movement. Babies even have their own dining room and sheltered outdoor play area. Once your baby has reached 1 year old or mobile they will then progress to our Tweenies department.

The Tweenies department

Our Tweenies have a brilliant large department which has lots of open space and natural lighting. The department has endless opportunities for children to explore, including lots of malleable play. Language and communication is especially important at this age, our practitioners will endeavour to help your little ones progress and have lots of fun whilst learning new skills and words.
Activities and learning include:

  • Role play areas, Book Area, Quiet corner & table top activities

The Toddlers department

With high quality equipment and plenty of activities your child will have lots to explore. In this department we follow early childhood play, learning and care pathways, where there is a vast emphasis on belonging, communication, exploration, physical & wellbeing. This department is open plan, allowing the children to roam around the room and explore their interests. We also continue this approach in the outdoors.
Throughout this department we offer:

  • Role play/dressing up
  • Bikes and bubble cars
  • Small world
  • Cosy corner
  • Physical activities
  • Loose parts

The Pre-school department

We provide a well-balanced authentic environment for your child to make friends and develop into bright individuals ready for their first days in primary school. The department has a designated team of qualified professionals, including 2 teachers who all share their passions for early years. We have been part of the ‘foundation phase’ since 2008, and continue to deliver FREE education to all children eligible. Preschool children are the drivers to their own learning and they love nothing more than exploring our large garden. Their day is individually set up to cater for their needs and interests. Parents have a large involvement with their children’s learning and nursery life. We have great reports from CIW and ESTYN. Facilities and learning include:

Kids club services

Our Kids club is registered for 50 children and provides a breakfast and afterschool club during term time, taking children to and from school. We have 3 private transport vehicles, all practitioners are DBS checked, hold a childcare qualification and receive driver training from us. The kids club is open during half terms and most teacher training days all on a pay as you go service.
Some of our features include:-

  • A large hall area for board games, technology, construction, group games, pool table and graffiti wall.
  • A seated area for cooking activities.
  • Creative zone and a calm reading area.
  • Outdoor area

The children are encouraged to investigate various topics including religious celebrations, science projects and good citizenship.

During the term time, we offer a breakfast club which is open 8am -9am. Toast and a selection of cereals are offered with a drink of milk or water.

There is opportunity for the children to have a short play before they leave for school. Below is a list of the schools we currently provide school runs to.

At the end of the school day we will collect the children and transport them back to the Kids Club, either by using our nursery private people carriers, practitioner vehicles or by foot for the closer nurseries and schools. All vehicles are equipped with correct booster seats, seat belts and appropriate insurance and safety checks to transport children to and from school.

Once all the children have safely arrived at kids club a light tea is served before a selection of activities are set out for the children to play. Whilst we are open during the holidays, please be aware that we do not open during bank holidays (You will not be charged for these days)

Holiday Club

Morning session 8.00am-1.00pm £18.00

Afternoon session 1.00pm-6.00pm £18.00

Full Day 8.00am-6.00pm £30.00

Day Session 8.00am-4.00pm £26.00

Morning sessions include breakfast and a lunch can
be provided at a cost of £3.00 per day, alternatively
you can provide a packed lunch if you would prefer.
